Following a high-profile, invitation-only launch event in late March, the Palm Beach–Israel Council (PBIC) has officially activated its 2026 agenda, establishing a premier platform to connect Palm Beach County’s “Wall Street South” momentum with Israel’s world-class innovation ecosystem.
The launch event, hosted at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, brought together a curated group of principals, senior executives, and investors. The gathering signaled a major step in positioning the region as a hub for international technology exchange and strategic cross-border partnerships.
“The response to the launch reinforced that there is a massive, untapped appetite for structured collaboration between Palm Beach and Israel,” said Guy Kuperman, founding council member of the PBIC. “We are building a long-term infrastructure to ensure our county’s growth is fueled by global innovation and lasting economic value.”
The event featured a fireside conversation with industry leaders such as Dr. Peter Kash, Gavin Hood, and Ben Topor, who explored the fast-evolving landscape and drivers of collaboration. Kelly Smallridge, President and CEO of the Business Development Board (BDB) of Palm Beach County, also addressed the room, emphasizing the importance of international relationships in sustaining the region’s unprecedented economic expansion.

The PBIC is already moving forward with its 2026 strategic priorities, which include the formation of specialized committees focused on AI, Healthcare, and Energy, among others. By partnering with institutions such as the Jewish Federation, the BDB, Reichman University, BDO, and the Palm Beach Synagogue, the Council provides a consistent framework for local leaders to engage with Israel’s network of startups, businesses, and research institutions.
“This is about the future of Palm Beach County” added Kuperman, “By formalizing these ties today, we are securing a seat at the table for the next wave of global innovation and growth for both ecosystems.”
